Tammy Meinershagen is a change agent and champion for the arts in Frisco. As a professional musician and teacher, she has a gift of inspiring others through her music, leadership, and passion for the arts. Tammy has volunteered in many roles to promote arts and culture in Frisco, serving on the Frisco Public Art Board, PR/Marketing Chair for the Texas Music Teachers Association, Inclusivity Chair for the Council of PTA, and member of the 2014 Citizen Bond Committee where she successfully spearheaded a $10M bond initiative for a performing arts center in Frisco. A skilled writer, Tammy also blogged with the Dallas Morning News Frisco Insiders to feature the growing arts scene in Frisco. Tammy is a tireless advocate of the arts, inciting creativity in every circle she encounters. Currently Tammy enjoys playing the electric violin with the Texas String Quartet and in the Stonebriar Community Church Orchestra. Originally from Chicago, IL and a graduate of Northwestern University, Tammy and her husband Todd reside in Frisco and have 3 daughters, all aspiring musicians and arts enthusiasts. |
