Weekly Reports
Talking To The Moon1/4/2018 I felt as if this was an appropriate song title, due to the long nights that this week has consisted of. Despite only being a 3 day week for school, I spent a handful of this time preparing for the ISM Research Showcase, handing out invitations, finalizing my board for presentation, and continuing to finalize my Original Work.
A handful of this week went towards finalizing the content for my Original Work. This meant further research, being sure to cite my sources, and coming up with a final draft for this project to be able to present to my mentor in the near future. Alongside Original Work, I went about this week finalizing the plan for my display board, including the change in color scheme, and handing out my Research Showcase invitations to family and friends. With the ISM Research Showcase coming up so quickly, the pressure is definitely on. I recall this time last year being just as nerve wracking as it is now. The scrambling to complete and perfect all of your ISM work before the presentation...it can be intimidating. While being extremely anxious, I am also beyond excited. I an excited to see what my peers and teachers will think of me pursuing a completely different topic this year in ISM, and hope to attain both positive feedback and constructive criticism.
