Go The Distance4/16/2018 This week was definitely one for the books. Despite a stressful week of ISM content, EKG testing (which I passed!), and so much more, the week was capped off with our annual choir spring trip! This year, the choir took a bus all the way to disney world! As I said before, this was definitely a weekend for the books!
Before leaving for this trip, through my health science course I took my EKG examination to receive my certification as an EKG technician. Despite the nervousness, I felt confident in the knowledge that I had attained over the past year, and I felt confident in my ability to pass this examination. Not only did I proudly pass this examination, but my entire class did as well! Needless to say, it was a great opportunity way for us to celebrate all of our hard work as a class this year! In regards to the Disney trip, I can confidently say that it will be a memory that I carry for the rest of my life. I have had the privilege of being the president of the Reedy Choir this year, and going on this trip really reminded me of the environment that choir is, one that can only be described as a family. We spent our time reflecting on our memories over the past three years, making new memories that will last forever, and riding roller coasters! This trip was extremely needed after a long year of hard work, and I truly enjoyed every minute of it. Upon returning home, I am now refreshed, and ready to continue my hard work to finish my senior year strong.
